We had a great stay at Christin’s place! The guide was excellent, and we consulted it frequently to decide on hikes and restaurants. Our kids and dog loved the fenced-in yard, and we all enjoyed the hot tub, game room, and waffle bar! House was clean, stocked with everything we needed, and comfortable.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway we fell in love with this place. The trees in bloom, the daffodils lining up the walkway, the violet wild flowers scattered across the lawn, the crisp air, all so peaceful and refreshing. The house was very welcoming as well. Even though it is an older house, it is decorated tastefully and has all the necessities one might need while on vacation: from various pots and pans to waffle maker and board games.
Our children thoroughly enjoyed the PacMan game and the swing in the backyard.
Speaking of the backyard that’s an oasis in and of itself. After a day of hiking we relaxed in the hot tub, roasted marshmallows and enjoyed evenings by the fire.
Speaking of hiking, the house is also conveniently located close to a few beautiful hikes as well as the city of Asheville. There is a grocery store less than 10 minutes away along with some good restaurants.
All in all a 10 out of 10 stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. The place had everything we needed. The large fenced yard was perfect for the dog. Enjoyed the hot tub, firepit and outdoor area - we luckily had great weather. Will definitely try to make a return visit.

A perfect stay! Highly recommend. If you're reading this trying to decide whether or not to book it, just do it.
Location: we picked this area so we could be close to Dupont Forest hikes, Pisgah Forest hikes, as well as fun stuff up in Asheville. It was nice to be able to get pretty much anywhere in 30-45 minutes.
Setting: Gorgeous views from the porch, which faces NW, so you get evening sunsets from the hot tub. You do see the neighbors' houses but the neighborhood is quiet and the overall feel is still private.
House: Nicely furnished. Sometimes rentals can have too much stuff and other times they're too sterile -- this one feels homey without being cluttered. Beds and linens are comfortable. Everything worked properly and was super clean.
Host: Such a standout. Christin has thought of everything! Waffle bar, makeup towels, extra blankets -- it's all so thoughtful. You can tell when someone has a heart for hosting, and she does. <3
We will definitely be back!

This home had the most incredible views. We loved the amenities such as the hot tub, fire pit and games. The home was stocked with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. It is in a beautiful area with lots to do and great restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was Root and Bone just at the bottom of the hill. Don’t hesitate to book, it is fantastic. We even saw a couple of the famous white squirrels!

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay! The host had thought through every little detail to make their guest feel right at home. I was very impressed by how clean all the linens were. There were extra items that I didn’t except like sound machines and phone chargers which was very helpful. I have a 1 and 3 year old and the home was very accommodating for them as well. The waffle station was a big hit! If we’re ever in the area again we would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay here! Christin was a perfect host! Super responsive host, happy to help us with anything that came up! Our dogs had an absolute blast running around the fenced one acre. The best part of this property is the back yard, fire pit, hot tub, and the sun room!!! We spent hours lounging in the comfy sun room watching our dogs play in the yard. 10/10. Thank you for a great stay!

Laurel Vista Cottage was a perfect place for our family and pup to stay while exploring the beauty of the Hendersonville area. The home was well equipped with beautiful views, and a nigh sky with stars that felt close enough to touch. The host took many steps to make the home homey, including a stocked waffle bar, coffee station, and popcorn station. Kids loved foosball and we had plenty of space to spread out. Nice fenced in yard for our dog to explore. So many thoughtful touches with an extremely responsive host.

Great, quiet location in Mills River. Just a short trip from some of the larger cities in the area but with easy access to trails. House was quiet, clean, easy to get around, well stocked, and had plenty of fun activities.
